Profile

In 1981, I built the robot you see above. It was made of cardboard and powered by make believe. In 1997, I accidentally started a dance company. I've been trying to figure it out ever since.

None of this could have happened without: Kema; Tamsin; Julia; Tryste; Gary; Ruth & Bruno; Sue; Fleur; 1312; JD & LJH; and all the dancers, musicians, techies, geeks, artists, makers and other collaborators who made it all worthwhile. Thanks, gang, it was and is a privilege.

If I was feeling suicidal, I wouldn't make a ballet about it, I'd make the most beautiful variation I could for a ballerina, then afterwards I'd shoot myself. George Balanchine

E.T.A.Hoffmann - Der Sandman
